Common Skin Concerns
We understand how difficult it can be to deal with skin concerns that impact your confidence and daily life. We take the guesswork out of finding the right treatment for your skin problems by offering personalised recommendations to each of our clients. Our team of highly skilled professionals will work with you to create a customised plan of treatments that will help you reach your skincare goals. Our goal is to make you feel confident in your own skin.
Sensitive Skin Types
Sensitive skin can be a result of overuse of harsh ingredients and chemicals that strip the natural oils from the epidermis and change the pH causing the skin to become reactive. Medications and diet can also contribute to sensitivities.
Environmental factors such as too much sun exposure, hot showers, and excess heat can lead to irritated, dehydrated, inflamed and dry skin. Other skin conditions are broken capillaries, rosacea, eczema and diffused redness.

First step is to recommend a simple skincare routine, tailored treatment plan to repair the skins barrier function and calm down the inflammation with healthy lifestyle tips.

Pigmentation
Skin pigmentation is highly dependent by our genetics, the environment and hormones that regulate the amount, type and distribution of melanin in the skin, hair and eyes.
Our skin being the largest organ is defending against external and internal factors like UV radiation, medications, pregnancy, chemicals, stress, and diet. These influencers can increase skin pigmentation changes resulting in melasma, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, age spots/liver spots, freckles, mottled pigment, and post-inflammatory pigmentation.
Acne Skin
Many factors can cause acne including hormones, genetics, diet, stress, harsh chemicals causing an imbalance in the skins pH and unsuitable products that suffocate the skin.

Appearance of acne can range from oily skin, blackheads (comedones), whiteheads, inflamed pustules and papules, cysts, nodules, scars, and keloid scarring. Acne can occur on the face, back and shoulders. There are different grades of acne ranging from mild to severe it is best to have a Tailored Skin Consultation to achieve the best results.
Ageing Skin
There are two types of ageing that affect our skin: intrinsic (chronological) and extrinsic (photo-ageing). Factors such as genetics, hormonal changes, diet, lifestyle, medications, inflammation and auto immune diseases and UV radiation can all contribute to skin ageing.

Visible signs of ageing are fine lines, wrinkles, dehydration, pigmentation, age spots, thinning of the skin, loss of elasticity, capillaries, and general sagging of the skin.

Scarring and Stretch Marks
Scars are a natural part of the wound healing process and occur from an injury to the skin. The skin heals with fibrous tissue, instead of normal skin. There are many different types of scars from acne scarring, surgery related scars, burns, hypertrophic, and keloid.

Stretch marks (striae) are indented scar like streaks and develop when the skin is stretched rapidly and shrinks too quickly.
