The micro-needling device creates small micro channels into the skin designed to target types of pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, open pores and acne scars, rosacea, thin skin, loss of elasticity. The treatment stimulates the wound healing phase and can last up to 14 days. This treatment is effective in collagen remodeling, firmer skin, healthy glowing skin, improvement of scarring and reduces pigmentation. What to Expect Temporary redness, heat, tiny blood spotting, skin tightness, flaking or peeling for 24 to 48 hours after your treatment. Pre-Care Recommendations Preparing the skin before your treatments with a form of Vitamin A, Vitamin C and the use of Alpha hydroxy acids or Beta Hydroxy Acid and SPF 30 or 50+ will prepare your skin by: - Increasing cell turn over by loosening the liquid that holds the cells together - Provides the skin with an even penetration of your treatment - Assists the skin in quicker healing time, (re-epithelisation), - Normalises pigmentation, by slowing down the melanosome activity - Vitamin A and Vitamin C both repair and protect the cells - Prevents any unwanted Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation Post -Care Recommendations - Avoid strenuous activity that involves any sweating or hot showers, spas, saunas or chlorinated pools for 24 to 48 hours. - Avoid waxing, plucking, shaving, picking and avoid any active products for 7 days. - Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks post treatment, failure to do so can result in pigment changes, swelling and scarring.
